Meet the Dentists
Dr. Natalija Aust, DDS
Natalija Aust, DDS, is a highly accomplished dental professional with a distinguished education and unparalleled expertise. She graduated from the esteemed Saints Cyril and Methodius School of Dentistry in Skopje, Macedonia, in 1997, receiving comprehensive training in all aspects of dentistry. Her dedication to her craft is evident in the numerous accolades and recognition she received throughout her career, including several awards for her clinical excellence and contributions to dentistry.
In 2002, Dr. Aust set her sights on expanding her horizons and immigrated to the United States, determined to make a name for herself in the American dental community. She supported herself as a dental assistant in Chicago, IL, while working tirelessly to repeat much of her education, earning high board scores and the admiration of her peers. Her exceptional work ethic and dedication to her craft earned her a coveted spot in a prestigious residency program at Marquette University, where she completed her Advanced Training in General Dentistry and performed a one-year post-doctoral fellowship.
Professional Experience
Following her training, Dr. Aust established a successful general dentistry practice in Zumbrota and St. Paul, MN, where she gained a reputation for her exceptional patient care and clinical expertise. She is known for her compassionate approach to patient care, dedication to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental technology, and commitment to providing her patients with the highest level of care. In 2010, she joined Marshfield Clinic, where she continued to provide outstanding patient care and solidified her reputation as a leading figure in the dental community.
Dr. Aust’s dedication to her patients is evident in her commitment to seeking new continuing education opportunities to enhance her skills and knowledge. In 2013, Dr. Aust decided to take a break from dentistry to focus on her children. Still, she remained active in the administration and progression strategies of Modern Family Dentists, LLC, ensuring that her practice and knowledge continued to provide the highest level of expertise to its patients.
Dr Aust is now here in Brookfield, IL bringing her superior knowledge and providing wonderful care to exceptional people.
Dr. Mike Aust, DDS
Dr. Michaelangelo Aust, DDS is a general dentist who’s known for combining high-level clinical training with a calm, reassuring approach—so patients feel comfortable, heard, and genuinely cared for at every visit. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI, and went on to complete advanced post-doctoral training in implants through the California Implant Institute and University of Nevada, Las Vegas completing a Master of Oral Implantology program.
Professional Experience
With a career spanning private practice, group practice, and community-focused care across the Midwest, Dr. Aust provides comprehensive dentistry—from preventive care and restorative work to implant dentistry, oral surgery, oral sedation, and computer-guided surgery. He’s also served in leadership and teaching roles, including helping shape continuing education for other dentists and mentoring dental students in clinical settings.
Beyond the office, Dr. Aust has a long-standing commitment to service. He founded Compassionate Dental Care International, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing dental care to people who might otherwise go without—supporting mission work that has delivered extensive care to thousands of patients in need.
Today, Dr. Aust brings that same blend of skill, empathy, and attention to detail to Forte Dentistry in Brookfield, IL, where he and Dr. Natalija Aust focus on modern, patient-first dentistry built on trust, comfort, and long-term relationships.
